I’m a design and visual development artist. I graduated from California State University, Northridge, earning a degree in Animation and am interested in getting into TV animation as a Character Designer or Background Artist.
Although I have only just begun my career as an animator my creativity has always been with me. Growing up, everything was a canvas for me. I used to draw on walls, books, letters, and even on my family themselves; drawing cartoon characters on them as if I was a tattoo artist. But mostly, my artistic skills developed on the margins of school notebooks.
My inspiration tends to come from experiences I have had or stories I’ve heard. At times, when ideas or stories come to me I quickly jot it down. From there, I try to think of how the story should go from point A to point B. I try to see the story through a characters perspective. What would I do? What would they do? Why?

I really enjoy the fantasy or sci-fi genre because there really is no limit to what can happen. People have created their own fictional universes where anything can happen, and I’d like to create my own as well.
From the stories I write to the characters I design, I want people to relate to the characters and experiences in a story. I hope to work alongside other passionate creators and in the future, become a show runner myself.
